SMGO was established in 1994 and was named after the infamous Saddle Mountain area of the North Kaibab Plateau in Northern Arizona. We are a highly skilled group of licensed professional guides and hunters that want to help you be successful once you are fortunate enough to draw an Arizona big game tag. “Success” in our minds is not only filling your tag with the trophy of your choice (TBBYC…you will hear more about this later on), but also making sure that the entire hunting adventure becomes one that you will truly remember and treasure forever. SMGO has a 100% success rate for almost a decade and our commitment to you is just that!

TBBYC…is our motto! Trophy Bucks & Bulls…YOUR Choice! As you know, Arizona big game tags have become extremely difficult to draw. Even with the current bonus point system, some of the premium hunts take 10 or more years to draw. We want to be sure that once you draw one of these tags, you fill it with the trophy of your dreams. We can assure you that it will not be a matter of whether or not we will see game, but which animal you choose to harvest. A “trophy” is viewed differently by each hunter and does not have to be record book to make it a trophy in your eyes. After all, it is your tag and your choice when all is said and done. Our job will be to show you as many animals as possible during the hunt, and give you our best estimate of scoring, maturity, age and overall “wall” appeal of the animal. We will also go as far to advise whether or not we feel we can harvest a better animal or not at that point in the hunt. The rest will be YOUR Choice!

The Arizona hunting draw application process will begin in the May timeframe with deadline submissions in early June. You can find detailed draw information and obtain application forms etc. by visiting Arizona Game & Fish web site at azgfd.com or www.arizona-hunt.com/apps. If we can be of any assistance in helping you decide which hunts to apply for, or provide actual hunt or draw result data for previous years, please contact us. We have access to lots of information and would be more than happy to help you out. If you would like us to file the application for you to insure accuracy of hunt selections and make sure draw deadline dates are met, we can do that as well.
